Established in 1986, Castañeda’s Mexican Food traces its roots back to the original Santana’s Mexican Food in Yucca Valley, California. What began as a 24-hour neighborhood staple on 29 Palms Hwy was later passed from Don Arturo to Arturo Castañeda, and in 2015 the name officially evolved into Castañeda’s Mexican Food. Today, with dozens of 24-hour locations across Southern California, including our Chula Vista restaurant, we continue serving authentic Mexican food any time of day.
